Financial Controller – Hotel Finance (Hamburg)

About the role

Kerry Robert Associates is recruiting a Financial Controller for a large, well‑known hotel located in central Hamburg. The position is ideal for finance professionals with a hospitality background who are ready to take on a senior finance function within an international hotel group.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and analyse key performance indicators (KPIs) for the hotel.
• Prepare forecasts, budgets and variance analyses.
• Review the monthly profit & loss statement and balance sheet.
• Support strategic financial planning and decision‑making.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and reporting standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hotel finance department.
• Strong background in financial controlling or finance management.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Right to work in Germany on a full‑time basis.
• Forward‑thinking, motivated and quick to learn new technologies.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Experience using EPOS (electronic point‑of‑sale) systems.
