Frac Engineer (d/f/m)

About the role

Baker Hughes is seeking a Frac Engineer to lead field crews, design, deploy and execute hydraulic fracturing and gravel‑pack treatments in the Adriatic region. You will work closely with the Completions and Wellbore Intervention team, customers and internal specialists to maximise well and field value.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a field specialist crew of downhole tool specialists and pumping operators on rig sites.
• Operate, control and deploy fracturing operations according to the client activity plan.
• Design, execute and optimise frac and gravel‑pack treatments.
• Track chemicals, rates and pressures using purpose‑built software and ensure accurate data collection.
• Collaborate with the laboratory to manage on‑site testing of frac chemicals for quality control.
• Prepare and troubleshoot software and equipment before and during operations.
• Collect data, produce daily reports and keep stakeholders informed of technical issues.
• Supervise on‑site teams, train new crew members and provide advisory support to clients.

Required profile

• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams in a field environment.
• Strong understanding of hydraulic fracturing and completion technologies.
• Willingness to receive cross‑training on additional completion tools.
• Effective communication with customers, internal offices and on‑site personnel.
