Freelance Chemistry & Python Expert for AI Training

About the role

We are looking for a freelance Chemistry & Python expert to help design and evaluate AI training problems for leading tech companies. The role is project‑based, remote and focuses on creating computational chemistry challenges that test and improve AI systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design original computational chemistry problems that reflect real research workflows.
• Create Python‑based tasks (using NumPy, SciPy and domain‑specific libraries) that require non‑trivial reasoning.
• Ensure problems are computationally intensive and cannot be solved manually within reasonable timeframes.
• Base challenges on practical chemistry applications and verify solutions with standard computational methods.
• Document problem statements clearly and provide validated correct answers.

Required profile

• Degree in Chemistry or a related field.
• 2+ years of professional experience in applied, research or teaching roles.
• Strong written English (C1+).
• Experience with numerical methods and computational chemistry concepts.

Required skills

• Python programming.
• NumPy, SciPy, Pandas.
• Computational chemistry libraries (e.g., RDKit, Open Babel).
• MATLAB, R, C or SQL (optional but relevant).
