Frontend Engineer Working Student / Intern (React, TypeScript)

About the role

Join ilert’s Engineering team as a Frontend Engineer Working Student or Intern. You will help build fast, intuitive, and reliable user interfaces for a mission‑critical SaaS platform that supports DevOps and IT teams during incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and ship user‑facing features using React and TypeScript.
• Maintain and extend a modular component library for a consistent UI.
• Ensure code quality with modern tooling, type safety, and automated tests.
• Assist in performance optimisation and UI reliability.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to understand the full product lifecycle.

Required profile

• Current student in Computer Science, Informatics or a related technical field.
• Hands‑on experience with React and a solid grasp of TypeScript.
• Proficiency in HTML5 and CSS3, including responsive design.
• Familiarity with Git workflows and clean code principles.
• Fluent English communication skills.
