GL Accountant – Düsseldorf

About the role

As a GL Accountant you will own the general ledger and month‑end close for multiple entities in Germany and the Netherlands, supporting Collins Foods’ rapid expansion across Europe. You will work closely with finance, operations and external partners in a fast‑moving, international environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger for several entities in Germany.
• Execute month‑end close activities, including accruals and reconciliations.
• Analyse variances, resolve discrepancies and support VAT filings.
• Assist with audit processes and monitor restaurant cash flows.
• Identify process improvements and drive efficiencies in financial reporting.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in financial accounting.
• Strong knowledge of general‑ledger accounting and month‑end close.
• Hands‑on mindset with the ability to work in a dynamic business environment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards or Oracle.
• Advanced Excel proficiency.
