Global Head of Solar Supply Chain

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Global Head of Solar Supply Chain to lead and transform our international supply chain function. This senior leadership position oversees end‑to‑end operations, aligning internal manufacturing with external partner ecosystems to support the rapid growth of the solar industry.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a global supply chain strategy that delivers efficiency, scalability, and resilience across all regions.
• Manage procurement, planning, logistics, supplier management, and distribution activities.
• Align internal manufacturing capabilities with external suppliers and strategic partners.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a multi‑geography team of supply chain professionals.
• Optimize cost, service level, and working capital performance.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and partners.
• Implement best‑in‑class processes, systems, and digital tools for transparency and performance.
• Collaborate with sales, engineering, and finance to drive business growth.
• Ensure risk management and supply continuity in a dynamic global environment.

Required profile

• Proven senior supply chain leadership experience, preferably in renewable energy, manufacturing, or industrial sectors.
• Track record managing global supply chains that include both in‑house production and outsourced suppliers.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and develop international teams.
• Strategic mindset combined with hands‑on execution capability.
• Fluent in English and German.
