Graduate KYC/Compliance Analyst – Luxembourg

About the role

The European Investment Bank (EIB) is seeking a Graduate KYC/Compliance Analyst to join its Joint Middle Office – Counterparty Management/KYC Centre of Expertise Division in Luxembourg. This full‑time, fixed‑term position offers hands‑on mentorship from experienced compliance professionals and exposure to a wide range of counterparties across Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Support the identification, assessment and follow‑up of compliance risks for new and existing counterparties.
• Assist in the implementation of KYC processes and Customer Due Diligence (CDD) procedures.
• Contribute to improvement projects such as the Client Lifecycle Management System and Group Client Portal.
• Collaborate with the Bank’s 1st and 2nd lines of defence, including Origination and Portfolio Management teams.
• Potentially rotate to other Joint Middle Office activities based on business needs.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a degree in finance, law, economics or a related field.
• Strong interest in compliance, anti‑money‑laundering (AML) and sanctions regulations.
• Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Luxembourg and adapt to a multicultural environment.

Required skills

• KYC (Know Your Customer) procedures.
• AML/CFT (Anti‑Money Laundering / Counter‑Funding of Terrorism) compliance.
• Sanctions screening and integrity checks.
