IT Security Engineer – DevOps & Cybersecurity

About the role

We are looking for an IT Security Engineer who will protect our payment platform and support DevOps practices. You will work closely with development and operations teams to identify and remediate security risks while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Strengthen and secure our infrastructure, supporting DevOps workflows.
• Perform regular security assessments, penetration tests and audits.
• Monitor systems and networks for suspicious activity and vulnerabilities.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents, including breaches and malware.
• Manage endpoint protection, firewalls and intrusion detection systems.
• Identify and remediate vulnerabilities in Java/Spring applications.
• Collaborate with developers to implement secure configurations and deployments.
• Assist in maintaining compliance with GDPR, ISO 27001 and DORA.

Required profile

• Several years of proven experience as an IT Security Specialist or similar role.
• Strong understanding of security tools such as penetration testing, SIEM, IDS/IPS and firewalls.
• Familiarity with network and application security principles.
• Hands‑on incident‑response and security‑analysis experience.
• Proficiency in Linux server environments.
• Experience with scripting and automation (Python, Bash, Ansible).
• Knowledge of Java or JavaScript development and deployment processes is a plus.
• Proactive, hands‑on mindset.
