Junior Frontend Developer – People Advisory Services

About the role

Join EY’s People Advisory Services as a Junior Frontend Developer, working on compliance‑related software for short‑term business travel. You will help create intuitive, high‑quality user interfaces for multinational clients, collaborating closely with technical and business stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and enhance frontend applications using SAP UI5, JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Implement user‑friendly, performant interfaces aligned with UX best practices.
• Integrate frontend components with backend services through RESTful APIs.
• Modernise and continuously improve existing code for maintainability and scalability.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Support and optimise build, deployment and runtime processes in a cloud environment.
• Gradually take ownership of frontend components and topics.

Required profile

• Proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience developing frontend applications and integrating them with backend services.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and version control using Git.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD pipelines; Azure DevOps experience is a plus.
• Ability to work in a Linux/Unix‑based environment (WSL) and basic scripting knowledge.
• Strong commitment to code quality, testing and clean UI architecture.
• Fluent English, both spoken and written.
