Legal Counsel

About the role

Almedia is looking for a Legal Counsel to join its Berlin team and help scale its legal function as the company expands globally. You will work closely with the General Counsel, providing fast‑paced, pragmatic legal support across commercial, privacy and employment matters.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a commercial contract framework to support entry into new international markets.
• Provide actionable legal advice on product features, data‑privacy, and employment law to ensure compliant growth.
• Draft, negotiate and manage high‑stakes partner agreements, vendor contracts and corporate secretarial tasks.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risks without slowing business velocity.

Required profile

• Legal qualification (Bachelor’s or Master’s degree) with solid grounding in commercial and contract law.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced startup or SME environment.
• Demonstrated ability to navigate commercial landscapes and support international expansion.
• Fluency in German is a plus.

Required skills
