Network Administrator – Shift (24/7)

About the role

GDIT is seeking a Network Administrator to join its EMITS Program Team supporting U.S. Army Europe. This is a shift‑based position covering nights, weekends and holidays, providing 24/7/365 network operations in Wiesbaden, Germany.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and manage data traffic and network performance to ensure high‑quality transmission.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues promptly.
• Perform Active Directory administration, including user account creation and access management.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, backup procedures, test plans and reports.
• Support network infrastructure components such as Cisco, Junos and NSX‑T platforms.

Required profile

• U.S. citizenship and a current Secret security clearance (must be able to obtain Secret).
• German TESA compliance (Bachelor’s + 3 years experience, or equivalent).
• IAT Level II compliance (Security+ CE or equivalent).
• Cisco Certified Support Technician (CCST) certification.
• 2+ years of recent, hands‑on networking experience.

Required skills

• VMware NSX‑T.
• Active Directory administration.
• Network monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Cisco Unified Communications (plus).
• Security+ (or equivalent) certification.
