Procurement Manager – Logistics & Warehousing Procurement

About the role

The company is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to lead logistics and warehousing procurement activities for its operations in Oberhausen and across Europe. Reporting to the international procurement leadership team, the role focuses on strategic sourcing, supplier management, and cost optimisation for warehouse infrastructure and indirect spend categories.

Key responsibilities

• Lead procurement for warehouse leasing, facility agreements, packaging materials, consumables and related services.
• Develop and implement category strategies for warehousing and indirect procurement spend.
• Build and maintain supplier relationships, conduct evaluations, negotiations and performance management.
• Manage the full procurement lifecycle including RFQs, tender processes, bid analysis, contract negotiations and renewals.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, asset management and commercial teams to support warehousing expansion and operational needs.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, process improvements and procurement efficiencies.

Required profile

• Degree qualified in Procurement, Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience within logistics, warehousing or industrial environments.
• Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management and indirect spend categories.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with operational, commercial and asset teams.
