SEA Team Lead – Lead & Optimize Paid Search Campaigns

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on, strategic, and people‑focused SEA Team Lead to shape the future of our paid search marketing. Based in Berlin (or elsewhere in Europe with regular travel to the office), you will combine leadership with active campaign management to drive strong PPC performance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, mentor and inspire a small team of SEA Managers, providing feedback, development plans and clear processes.
• Own and manage 2‑3 high‑impact SEA accounts, ensuring world‑class execution and measurable results.
• Prioritise, delegate and empower team members, setting clear ownership and accountability.
• Oversee day‑to‑day optimisation of Google and Bing campaigns, driving continuous improvement.
• Enhance and streamline workflows, templates and processes for scalable SEA operations.
• Track, analyse and report campaign performance using SEMrush, Qlik Sense and Excel/Sheets.
• Act quickly on performance issues to maintain campaign stability.
• Experiment with new strategies, formats and channels to improve ROI.
• Collaborate with Vertical Managers and other stakeholders to align paid search with business goals.

Required profile

• Proven experience in digital performance marketing with deep expertise in SEA campaign management and scaling for ROI.
• Strong analytical mindset and data‑driven decision‑making.
• Confidence and motivation to lead a team and take ownership of performance.
• Collaborative communicator who builds strong relationships across functions.
