Senior Accountant – Finance & Accounting

About the role

As a Senior Accountant you will join an agile digital services team, preparing financial statements and managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks. You will work with both German GAAP (HGB) and IFRS, supporting the company’s financial integrity while contributing to its digital transformation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare monthly, half‑yearly and annual financial statements in accordance with HGB and IFRS.
• Process accounts receivable and accounts payable, including accruals and deferrals.
• Resolve complex accounting and tax issues, providing optimal solutions.
• Maintain communication with external partners to ensure compliance with financial and tax requirements.

Required profile

• Several years of professional accounting experience with a proven track record.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong numerical aptitude, precision and attention to detail.
• Fluent German and English language skills.

Required skills

• Sage ERP (or similar accounting software).
• Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel.
