Senior C++ Software Engineer (Hybrid, Berlin)

About the role

We are looking for a Senior C++ Software Engineer to join our Berlin‑based technology team. You will work on performance‑critical software that spans embedded firmware, backend services, desktop applications and internal tools, directly influencing products used in global infrastructure projects.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and optimise C/C++ (C++20/23) applications for Linux and Windows.
• Build cross‑platform graphical user interfaces using Qt.
• Contribute to backend services and cloud integrations on AWS or similar platforms.
• Ensure reliability, performance and maintainability of the software stack.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional C/C++ development experience.
• Strong understanding of operating systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with cross‑platform development on Linux and Windows.
• Fluent English; German is a plus.
• Proactive, able to work independently in a small agile team.
