Senior Container Administrator – NATO Clearance – Munich

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Container Administrator to join a long‑term, high‑impact project in Munich. You will work on an air‑gapped Rancher platform and Kubernetes clusters, supporting critical defence, banking and aerospace services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, operate and maintain an air‑gapped Rancher container platform and Kubernetes clusters.
• Administer and harden Unix/Linux systems (RHEL 8/9 or equivalent).
• Automate operations using Ansible, Terraform or similar tools.
• Design and maintain high‑availability, disaster‑recovery, monitoring, logging and alerting solutions.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams on CI/CD pipelines and ensure compliance through regular patching.
• Produce and keep up‑to‑date technical documentation.

Required profile

• Fluent English (C1+).
• Eligible for or holding NATO security clearance.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Rancher and Kubernetes administration.
• Solid Unix/Linux system administration background.
• Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible or Terraform.
• Knowledge of container security and work in air‑gapped environments.
