Senior Controller

About the role

Delivery Hero is looking for a Senior Controller to join its Central Controlling team in Berlin. You will act as the subject‑matter expert for intercompany transactions, ensuring accurate reconciliation, compliance and smooth month‑end closings.

Key responsibilities

• Manage €200M intercompany recharge volume, ensuring accurate reconciliation and adherence to transfer‑pricing guidelines.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting and finance teams to align intercompany practices and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain completeness of closing packages, investigate mismatches and support timely financial reporting.
• Drive process improvements, standardisation, controls and documentation for scalability.
• Support budgeting, performance analysis and stakeholder training across cost centres.
• Build reports, dashboards and tools; support system roll‑outs and perform ad‑hoc analyses.

Required profile

• 6+ years of experience in finance or audit with a degree in finance, accounting, controlling or a related field.
• Strong background in P&L and balance‑sheet analysis and intercompany accounting.
• Hands‑on experience with consolidation tools or FP&A solutions.
• Advanced Excel skills and a structured, proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder‑management abilities and fluency in English.
• Self‑motivated team player able to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
