Senior Director Analyst, AI Cybersecurity

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Director Analyst to lead strategic research on AI cybersecurity for enterprise clients across Germany. In this highly visible position you will shape AI governance frameworks, assess generative AI security risks, and provide actionable guidance to senior leaders navigating the evolving AI threat landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Develop high‑impact research, frameworks, and strategic guidance on AI cybersecurity, AI governance, and data protection.
• Produce compelling written analysis and actionable recommendations for enterprise leaders.
• Conduct market research and trend analysis of AI security technologies, governance frameworks, and emerging cyber threats.
• Lead client engagements, workshops, presentations, and advisory discussions.
• Deliver thought leadership at industry conferences, virtual events, and executive briefings.
• Collaborate with research and sales teams to support business growth and high‑value content creation.
• Perform peer reviews of research deliverables to ensure quality and relevance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced degree preferred.
• 12+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information risk management, data security, AI architecture, data science, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of AI governance, cybersecurity controls for AI systems, and generative AI security challenges.
• Proven ability to research, analyze, and communicate complex technical topics clearly.
• Exceptional writing and presentation skills for executive‑level audiences.
