Senior HR Operations Professional

About the role

Join Avaloq’s People Services & Solutions team as a Senior HR Operations Professional supporting the German legal entity and the broader EMEA region. You will be the primary point of contact for HR administration, employee lifecycle management, and payroll coordination, ensuring compliance with German labour law and data protection regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the main contact for all HR administration matters, liaising with internal stakeholders, authorities, and external service providers.
• Manage the full employee lifecycle from onboarding to off‑boarding, maintaining compliant personnel files.
• Ensure accurate employee data in the HRIS, upholding GDPR and German statutory requirements.
• Coordinate end‑to‑end payroll processing with external providers, handling preparation, validation, reconciliation and statutory reporting.
• Provide first‑line HR advisory via the ticketing system and support process‑optimisation initiatives.
• Maintain relationships with payroll vendors, benefits partners and statutory authorities.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of German labour law and payroll compliance.
• Proven ability to work independently in an international, multi‑country environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience handling confidential employee data in line with GDPR.
