Simulation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Simulation Engineer to join our Berlin team and help optimise robotic workcells for automotive OEMs and suppliers. In this hybrid role you will use our platform to run simulations, generate collision‑free motion plans and reduce cycle times, ensuring seamless integration of advanced robotics into production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects and proof‑of‑concepts to optimise robotic workcells, focusing on cycle‑time reduction, collision avoidance and integration of our technology.
• Use Siemens Process Simulate and other simulation tools to run “what‑if” scenarios, create collision‑free motion plans and optimise cycle times with Resolver.
• Become the internal expert on automotive OEM standards, develop training materials, best practices and documentation.
• Collaborate closely with the Customer Success team from proposal to deployment to ensure successful project execution.
• Provide technical insights and simulation expertise to drive customer satisfaction and maintain strong relationships with key contacts at automotive OEMs and suppliers.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with industrial robotics and robot simulation tools.
• Ability to learn and master new software tools quickly and independently.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Project‑management capability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and adapt to changing requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Startup mindset with a desire to thrive in a fast‑paced, innovative environment.
