Sourcing Manager – Strategic Procurement

About the role

Greif is seeking a Sourcing Manager to lead strategic sourcing initiatives across key spend categories. The role will drive cost savings, mitigate supply risk, and support the company’s commitment to operational excellence and sustainability.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies to achieve cost reduction and supply continuity.
• Manage the full sourcing lifecycle, including supplier evaluation, negotiation, and contract preparation.
• Conduct market research and benchmarking to inform sourcing recommendations.
• Lead procurement‑related projects from initiation to completion, coordinating cross‑functional teams and maintaining project documentation.
• Negotiate high‑impact sourcing events and develop plans to secure competitive commercial terms.
• Oversee supplier relationships, track performance KPIs, and support quarterly business reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Project Management, Business or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in sourcing or procurement (Capex, MRO, Opex).
• Strong negotiation and analytical abilities.
• Working knowledge of sourcing processes, cost analysis, and contract management.
