Supply Chain Engineer – V.I.E Program

About the role

Join ALTEN as a Supply Chain Engineer within the V.I.E program, supporting cutting‑edge projects in the aeronautics sector. You will work on supplier and procurement processes, helping to create a more sustainable and digitally enabled supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and manage relationships with suppliers.
• Create purchase orders, monitor deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods.
• Develop and execute action plans to improve supplier capacity and quality.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels (zero‑stock targets) and analyse internal material flows for continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Eligible for the V.I.E program.
• Master’s degree (M.Sc. or MEng) in Supply Chain Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in an automotive environment.
• Fluent in English and German.
• Strong understanding of ERP and MRP systems.
