Tax Manager – VAT & Corporate Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a pragmatic, business‑oriented Tax Manager to lead tax compliance and optimisation across our fast‑growing soft‑drink brand. The role will own VAT, corporate income tax and trade tax matters, partnering with Accounting and Legal to support rapid market expansion.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day tax obligations for the group, including VAT registrations, periodic returns and trade‑tax filings.
• Coordinate filing deadlines with internal stakeholders and external advisors, ensuring accurate and timely submissions.
• Support month‑end and year‑end closing processes, preparing tax provisions and audit‑ready documentation.
• Assess tax implications of new initiatives, contracts, promotions and market entries, acting as a proactive business partner.
• Develop and maintain scalable tax processes, documentation standards and tools to enable self‑service where appropriate.
• Monitor regulatory changes and translate them into practical guidance, training and process updates.

Required profile

• Hands‑on, structured problem‑solver with a strong ownership mindset.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Degree in tax, finance, law or a comparable qualification; a Steuerberater qualification is a strong plus.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant tax experience, preferably in a multinational or fast‑growing environment.
