Transport Specialist

About the role

Silvasti is seeking a Transport Specialist to act as a key liaison between clients and operations in Germany. You will ensure that oversized cargo transports are planned, executed, and reported safely and efficiently, supporting the company’s growth in the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage project and transport plans for oversized cargo shipments.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Report progress and results to internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage fleet resources, including mechanical equipment and vehicles.
• Coordinate with clients to meet their transport expectations.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in oversize cargo transport operations.
• Native‑level German and business‑level English.
• Strong people skills and a precise, results‑oriented work approach.
• Mechanical knowledge of transport fleet and equipment.
• Experience with ERP systems; experience in onshore wind power transports is a plus.
• AutoCAD skills are welcome.
