Accountant Engineer (Hybrid, Berlin)

About the role

This part‑time hybrid position in Berlin supports the financial management of construction projects. You will work both on‑site and from home, ensuring accurate financial records, budget tracking, and cost analysis while collaborating closely with project managers.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records for multiple construction projects.
• Track project budgets, analyze cost variances, and prepare detailed financial reports.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure financial compliance and operational efficiency.
• Utilize accounting software and ERP systems to produce forecasts and support decision‑making.
• Monitor regulatory, tax, and compliance requirements specific to the construction sector.

Required profile

• Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and cost analysis.
• Strong experience with accounting software and ERP systems used in construction.
• Knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
• Excellent analytical abilities, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and within a collaborative team environment.
• Prior experience in construction or engineering finance is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CFA certification is a plus.
• Fluent English; German language skills are advantageous.
