Finance Lead – Climate Tech Startup

About the role

As the first dedicated finance hire at atmio, you will own the entire finance function and directly influence the company’s ability to raise capital and make data‑driven decisions. This role offers a clear path toward a future lead or CFO‑type position within a high‑caliber founding team.

Key responsibilities

• Run accounting, reporting and ensure all numbers are investor‑ready.
• Maintain budgets and cash‑flow, keeping financial health under control.
• Lead the financial side of upcoming fundraises, building scenarios and forecasts.
• Partner with the C‑level team as a strategic sparring partner on priorities.
• Serve as the go‑to person for financial questions across the organization.
• Transform early‑stage processes into scalable financial structures.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in finance, controlling or a similar role.
• Hands‑on involvement in Series A+ startups, including funding rounds.
• Strong academic background – Bachelor’s in Finance or related field (Master’s a plus).
• Fluent in German and English.
• Comfortable working in fast‑changing environments and taking ownership.
