Finance Manager – Investment Firm

About the role

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join a fast‑growing, owner‑managed investment firm operating in Berlin. The role supports commercial processes, ensures regulatory compliance, and works closely with the CFO to shape financial strategy and operations for mid‑market investments.

Key responsibilities

• Support commercial processes for the organization, including KVG and fund entities.
• Assist in preparing annual financial statements together with external advisors.
• Ensure compliance with reporting guidelines and support external audits.
• Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and payroll processing.
• Document processes in line with BaFin regulations.
• Serve as primary contact for tax advisors, auditors, and investors.
• Assist in asset acquisitions and sales, prepare capital calls and distributions.
• Produce analyses and materials for investor reporting and ESG reporting.
• Support compliance matters such as KYC and AML policies.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in auditing, tax advisory, or financial investment.
• Degree in business administration, finance, or accounting.
• Strong knowledge of German GAAP (HGB) and German tax law.
• Fluent in English and German, both written and spoken.
• High reliability, accuracy, and ability to work independently while maintaining confidentiality.
