Chief of Staff – Venture Builder for New Business Vertical

About the role

BuenaBuena is scaling its real‑estate technology platform and needs a hands‑on leader to launch a new revenue vertical from scratch. As Chief of Staff (Venture Builder) you will own the end‑to‑end creation of a business line—whether brokerage, energy services, insurance, financing or another adjacent offering—turning it into a profit‑generating unit.

Key responsibilities

• Define and own the P&L for the chosen vertical, driving revenue, margin and payback targets.
• Design the product vision, write specifications, and work directly with product managers and engineers to ship required features.
• Develop go‑to‑market strategies, secure partnerships, and close deals to launch the vertical across all portfolio companies.
• Create rollout playbooks, measure performance, and ensure consistent execution across >60,000 managed units.
• Continuously research the market, outthink incumbents, and adapt the business model within 60 days of launch.

Required profile

• Proven entrepreneurial experience – founded a company, built and sold a product, or scaled a freelance business.
• Strong commercial mindset with deep understanding of unit economics, margins and deal structures.
• Demonstrated ability to make fast, reversible decisions and iterate quickly.
• Track record of closing deals, signing partners, or raising capital.
• Native‑level German proficiency (required for partners, regulators and customers).
• Willingness to work on‑site in the Prenzlauer Berg office (remote not permitted).
