Cyber Security Officer

About the role

Spektrum is seeking a Cyber Security Officer to support the NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) in Brussels. The role focuses on applying security controls, assessing risks, and communicating security issues to ensure the protection of NATO’s communication networks and information systems.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and maintain specific security controls in line with organisational policy and local risk assessments.
• Communicate security risks and issues to business managers and relevant stakeholders.
• Perform basic risk assessments for small information systems.
• Contribute to the identification and mitigation of security risks across the agency’s IT environment.

Required profile

• Experience applying security controls and conducting risk assessments.
• Ability to clearly communicate security concerns to non‑technical audiences.
• Familiarity with NATO or defence‑related security environments is advantageous.
