Director People & Culture (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Director People & Culture to lead and expand our HR function. You will be responsible for shaping a positive workplace, supporting employee growth, and building a strategic people agenda in a fast‑moving robotics technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and run structured onboarding programs and manage off‑boarding processes, including exit interviews and continuous improvement.
• Develop and implement training, development, and cultural initiatives to boost employee satisfaction and foster a strong feedback culture.
• Serve as the primary HR contact for managers and staff, providing guidance on labor‑law matters, HR policies, vacation, working‑time models, compensation and bonuses.
• Gradually build an HR team, recruit new colleagues, and collaborate with leadership to define a future‑oriented people strategy.

Required profile

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Psychology, HR Management or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of HR experience, preferably in a fast‑paced startup or tech company.
• Solid knowledge of labor and social security law.
• Experience in recruiting, employee development, employer branding and cultural projects.
• Excellent German and English communication skills, both written and spoken.
