ERP Application Manager

About the role

SEARGIN is seeking an experienced ERP Application Manager to lead the operation and continuous improvement of its ERP landscape in Hambühren, Germany. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure the system supports end‑to‑end business processes and delivers reliable performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own the day‑to‑day operation, configuration, customisation and authorisation management of the ERP system.
• Analyse, map and optimise sales, purchasing, production planning, logistics and related processes within the ERP.
• Provide 2nd‑level application support, including error analysis, prioritisation, resolution and documentation.
• Manage change, release and test cycles from requirement gathering through to go‑live support.
• Ensure data quality and master‑data governance through defined rules, monitoring and corrective actions.
• Coordinate interfaces and integrations, performing data‑flow analysis and supporting testing/acceptance.
• Develop and deliver training sessions and workshops to raise user and key‑user competence.

Required profile

• Completed studies in Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration or equivalent commercial/technical training.
• Several years of experience as an ERP consultant, administrator or process owner in a manufacturing environment, preferably mechanical or plant engineering.
• Deep understanding of operational end‑to‑end processes and their representation in ERP systems.
• Strong analytical mindset, structured working style and clear communication.
• Fluent German (written and spoken); English is a plus.
