Founders Associate – Strategic Growth Partner

About the role

As a Founders Associate you will work directly with the founders of mika, supporting the company’s rapid expansion in the German SME finance market. You will operate at the crossroads of sales operations, strategy and business development, tackling high‑impact challenges as the business scales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead strategic growth projects aimed at penetrating the SME market, including evaluating new sales channels and forging partnerships.
• Design and implement scalable sales processes, tools and playbooks to transform manual activities into repeatable systems.
• Act as a shadow and sparring partner for the founders in high‑stakes meetings, investor relations and strategic planning.
• Analyse sales funnel and market data to uncover growth opportunities and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Bridge product, marketing and sales teams to ensure the voice of German SMEs is reflected in product and go‑to‑market decisions.

Required profile

• Entrepreneurial mindset with a strong drive to own projects from inception to delivery.
• Experience in a high‑growth startup, top‑tier consulting, investment banking or founding a venture.
• Ability to dive deep into data while also executing on the front line – from spreadsheets to phone calls.
• Deep understanding of the German SME landscape and passion for digitising the Mittelstand.
• Business‑fluent German and professional English communication skills.
