HR Generalist (m/f/d) – Build a World‑Class Team

About the role

We are looking for our first HR Generalist to shape the people function at a fast‑growing TikTok Shop agency in Cologne. You will design and execute a dual‑track recruiting strategy, support day‑to‑day operations, and create an authentic, high‑energy office culture.

Key responsibilities

• Source and recruit German and international talent for account management, strategy and operations.
• Identify and “cast” charismatic Live Hosts who will represent partner brands on‑air.
• Manage German employment contracts, health‑insurance registrations and ensure compliance with local labour law.
• Act as the primary point of contact for the Cologne office, fostering an inclusive and dynamic workplace.
• Implement the first HR tech stack (ATS/HRIS) to replace manual processes.
• Design and deliver a seamless onboarding experience for new hires.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in HR or recruitment, preferably in a digital agency, startup or media environment.
• Fluent in English and German, able to handle contracts and daily communication in both languages.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, “done‑over‑perfect” environment.
• Enjoys evaluating personality and vibe as much as CVs when hiring Live Hosts.
