Senior 3PL Logistics Manager – European Network

About the role

We are seeking a Senior 3PL Logistics Manager to lead strategic logistics initiatives across our European network. The role sits at the heart of global supply‑chain operations, overseeing key logistics partners and driving end‑to‑end transformation projects in a multi‑site industrial environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead cross‑functional logistics projects covering transport, customs, packaging and network design.
• Own the full lifecycle of 3PL/4PL providers – from tendering and selection to implementation and hyper‑care.
• Act as the main interface between logistics, procurement, finance and operational business units.
• Identify cost‑optimisation and network‑consolidation opportunities across multiple units.
• Define, monitor and improve KPIs and SLAs to ensure high service quality.
• Drive CO₂ reporting, TMS optimisation and compliance initiatives (customs, dangerous goods).
• Lead contract negotiations and pricing discussions with logistics partners at senior level.
• Manage risk, change and crisis scenarios to maintain business continuity.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in strategic logistics or 3PL management, preferably in an industrial/manufacturing setting.
• Proven expertise in tender processes, supplier evaluation and contract management.
• Strong experience working with international 3PL providers and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Solid understanding of business case development, service specifications and logistics cost structures.
• Fluent in German and English.
• Willingness to travel internationally.
