Senior People Operations Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a Senior People Operations Specialist to lead end‑to‑end HR processes in a fast‑moving, remote‑first environment. You will act as a hands‑on generalist, designing scalable, automated solutions that support a globally distributed team across multiple European jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Own and manage core HR operations throughout the employee lifecycle, from onboarding to off‑boarding.
• Support managers and employees with performance management, employee relations, and day‑to‑day HR needs.
• Coordinate with EOR providers and contractors across several countries, ensuring compliance with European employment frameworks.
• Partner with Finance to handle contractor payments, payroll workflows, and timely execution.
• Design, document, and continuously improve HR processes, replacing manual steps with automated, AI‑driven solutions.
• Build and maintain People Operations tools and integrations with platforms such as HiBob, Notion, Slack, and internal systems.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in People Operations or HR, preferably in a tech‑driven (SaaS, fintech) environment.
• Proven track record in startup or scale‑up settings, with a focus on process building and improvement.
• Strong understanding of multi‑country European employment models, EOR structures, and contractor administration.
• Experience thriving in fully remote, async‑first teams.
• High ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to solve problems independently.
