HR Generalist – DACH Region (Germany, Austria, Switzerland)

About the role

Join Lenovo, a global technology leader, as an HR Generalist supporting the DACH region. This entry‑level position offers the chance to work directly with employees and managers, gaining hands‑on experience across the full employee lifecycle while contributing to a vibrant, inclusive culture.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a trusted point of contact for employees and managers on HR‑related topics.
• Support the local HR Partner team with day‑to‑day operations and ongoing initiatives.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on selected recruitment processes.
• Help manage and grow student and early‑career programs, bringing fresh ideas to attract talent.
• Contribute to onboarding, offboarding, and cooperation with the works council.
• Work with HR data and insights, including headcount tracking and reporting.
• Participate in projects such as employer branding, talent development, diversity & inclusion, and community initiatives.
• Partner with other HR functions (Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, HR Services) and collaborate across EMEA.

Required profile

• Strong interest in HR and a genuine motivation to learn and grow.
• Excellent communication skills in German and English.
• Proactive, service‑oriented mindset with a hands‑on approach.
• Ability to work independently while staying organized and structured.
• Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field.

Required skills

• Confidence using MS Office.
• Familiarity with HR systems such as Workday (a plus, not required).
