Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist – Germany/Austria/Switzerland

About the role

We are seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist to support a leading construction and engineering firm’s growth across Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The role will focus on building and strengthening supplier and subcontractor networks for high‑value projects in data centres, life sciences, semiconductors, fire protection and ICT.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, pre‑qualify and engage vendors across key technical trades in the DACH region.
• Map supplier capabilities, assess capacity and support onboarding, ensuring all documentation meets commercial, legal and HSQE requirements.
• Use internal data and dashboards to pinpoint supply‑chain gaps and provide clear insights to project, procurement and commercial teams.
• Attend supplier meetings and site visits, capture technical and commercial information and maintain long‑term relationships.
• Represent the company at trade events, supplier forums and industry gatherings to discover new capabilities.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain roles, preferably within construction, engineering or mission‑critical environments.
• Strong understanding of technical specifications, subcontracting and procurement processes.
• Excellent communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Willingness to travel across Europe and hold EU work authorization.

• Advanced Excel for reporting and data analysis.
• Proficiency with data dashboards and supply‑chain analytics tools.
