Team Lead (Head of) Asset Management

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Team Lead (Head of) Asset Management to drive the execution of investment strategies for its multifamily and student accommodation portfolios in Frankfurt. The role combines operational oversight, strategic planning, and team leadership to maximize portfolio performance.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee individual investments and overall portfolio performance, identifying strategies to increase NOI and returns.
• Partner with Operations to deliver key performance metrics, including leasing, revenue, and expense management.
• Lead the compilation of annual operational and capital budgets and business plans for senior management and capital partners.
• Participate in senior‑level market review discussions, present business plans, and make strategic recommendations.
• Support major capitalization initiatives, acquisitions, and dispositions.
• Maintain and develop a broad network of industry resources to support growth.
• Lead, hire, onboard, and develop team members, managing performance in line with company policies.
• Prepare financial, accounting, administrative, and analytical reports.

Required profile

• Proven experience in asset management of multifamily and student accommodation assets.
• Strong analytical and financial evaluation capabilities.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement business plans and operational strategies.
• Leadership experience, including hiring, onboarding, and managing direct reports.
• Ability to collaborate with senior leadership and capital partners.
