Area Manager – Fashion & Footwear Retail (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Netherlands)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Area Manager to lead a portfolio of fashion and footwear stores across Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Netherlands. You will partner with Store Managers to drive sales, profitability and operational excellence while championing a customer‑first culture that reflects the brand’s premium positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Own commercial performance of multiple stores, delivering targets for sales, profit, conversion and average transaction value.
• Analyse sales reports, market trends and performance data to identify growth opportunities and implement action plans.
• Coach and develop Store Managers, building high‑performing teams that meet business objectives.
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional customer service and visual merchandising standards.
• Lead talent development, succession planning and recruitment across the region.
• Conduct regular store visits, performance reviews and business planning meetings.
• Maintain operational compliance, including health & safety, cash management and loss prevention.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an Area Manager, Regional Manager, Cluster Manager, Multi‑Site Manager or Senior Store Manager in fashion, footwear or premium retail.
• Track record of delivering commercial results in multi‑store environments.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into action.
• Excellent leadership, coaching and people‑development capabilities.
• Passion for fashion and footwear and a deep understanding of customer expectations.
• Willingness to travel regularly across the assigned region.
