Assembly/Repair Technician – Level 1 (Test Facility)

About the role

We are looking for an Assembly/Repair Technician (m/f/d) Level 1 to join our test facility in Bremen. You will work on mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies for defence‑related projects, ensuring high‑quality build and test processes.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical and electrical sub‑assemblies and devices according to instructions, drawings and bills of materials.
• Commission and test assemblies at device and system level, performing interface tests as defined in test specifications.
• Record work results and document outcomes accurately.
• Complete production orders on time and provide clear reporting.

Required profile

• Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics or a comparable field.
• Professional experience in assembling electronic assemblies.
• Basic knowledge of English (spoken and written).
• Basic proficiency with MS Office and SAP.
• Goal‑oriented, open‑minded, and able to work well in a team.
• High degree of care, precision and quality awareness.
• Confident use of tools and test equipment (electrical, mechanical, optical).
