About the role

Applied Materials is a global leader in materials engineering solutions for semiconductor and display manufacturing. The Alzenau site is looking for a Quality Technician (m/f/d) to support mechanical engineering and manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality inspections on mechanical components and assemblies.
• Conduct incoming and final inspections, including documentation.
• Handle complaints and quality notifications.
• Analyze defects and follow up on corrective actions.
• Communicate with suppliers and international teams, including those in Asia.

Required profile

• Completed technical training (e.g., Industrial Mechanic, Mechatronics Technician).
• Experience in quality inspection or quality assurance.
• Skilled in using measuring tools and inspection methods.
• Good German and English language skills.
• Basic knowledge of MS Office; SAP QM is a plus.
