Senior Site Reliability Engineer – Cloud & Automation

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to ensure the reliability, scalability, and performance of mission‑critical platforms that support global healthcare operations. You will work in an international engineering team focused on cloud modernization, automation, and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SRE and operational excellence initiatives across production and cloud services.
• Define, implement and manage reliability metrics (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets).
• Design and maintain scalable, resilient cloud‑native architectures with strong automation focus.
• Build and optimise Infrastructure as Code and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting capabilities for proactive incident response.
• Drive incident management, root‑cause analysis and preventive improvements.
• Collaborate with engineering, security, product and vendor teams globally.
• Mentor engineers and share reliability best practices.
• Perform capacity planning, performance analysis and long‑term scalability assessments.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering, Platform Engineering, DevOps or similar roles.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with AWS; experience with Azure or GCP is a plus.
• Proven experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, automation practices and Git‑based workflows.
• Experience implementing reliability frameworks (SLIs, SLOs, SLAs, error budgets).
• Practical knowledge of observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK, OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing).
