Account Manager – Consulting Projects

About the role

As an Account Manager at Consultport you will act as the main liaison between senior decision‑makers at leading companies and our global network of freelance consultants. You will build a portfolio of clients, define consulting projects, and oversee their delivery from scoping to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with C‑level executives to identify critical consulting needs.
• Write clear project briefs, vet and shortlist consultants, and prepare them for client interviews.
• Lead negotiations on scope, deliverables, and pricing, and secure high‑value contracts.
• Monitor active engagements, identify extension opportunities, and ensure successful project outcomes.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets and contribute to the growth of the consulting platform.

Required profile

• Graduated from a top university with excellent grades.
• At least 6 months of experience in sales, business development, or consulting.
• Results‑driven mindset with a proven record of meeting or exceeding targets.
• Strong interest in the global consulting industry and emerging work trends.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Fluent in English (C1/C2); additional European languages are a plus.
• Willingness to work onsite at the Berlin office.
