Accountant – EMEA Operations

About the role

Lovehoney Group is seeking an Accountant to support its EMEA entities. Working closely with the Accounting Manager and finance team, you will ensure accurate month‑end and year‑end closing while driving process improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting operations for assigned EMEA entities.
• Prepare general ledger entries, accruals and perform account reconciliations.
• Support and execute month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end closing activities.
• Maintain accurate financial records and resolve accounting discrepancies with stakeholders.
• Improve, standardise and automate accounting processes, including the use of AI‑supported tools.

Required profile

• Relevant accounting qualification (e.g., Tax Clerk) or comparable finance degree.
• Practical operational accounting experience with solid knowledge of German GAAP (HGB).
• Strong Excel skills and experience with NetSuite or a comparable ERP system.
• Hands‑on, structured and accurate working style with a keen interest in process automation and AI.
• Professional proficiency in English and good command of German, both written and spoken.
