AI Automation Engineer

About the role

As the AI Automation Engineer at Cosuno, you will drive efficiency across the company by designing and deploying AI‑powered workflows. You will work closely with the CEO and CTO to ensure solutions fit the core infrastructure and deliver measurable impact. The role focuses on rapid execution and reliable automation delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with Finance, Sales, Ops and Product to discover high‑ROI automation opportunities and evaluate business impact versus technical effort.
• Design, prototype and deploy end‑to‑end AI workflows using the orchestration stack (e.g., n8n, vector databases) and connect various endpoints via APIs.
• Build modular, reusable solutions that can be leveraged across multiple departments, avoiding duplicated effort.
• Establish AI guardrails and enable internal AI champions to work with the automations independently.
• Define and track success metrics such as ROI, time saved and reliability to continuously optimise the automation platform.

Required profile

• Product mindset – treat internal tools as products, prioritize business value over perfect code.
• Technical fluency – strong proficiency in Python, n8n and API architecture, with hands‑on experience in Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) and connecting LLMs to proprietary data.
• Applied AI focus – prefer building reasoning chains and integrating existing models rather than training custom ones.
• Systems thinker – recognise inter‑connected data flows and create scalable, modular solutions.
• Change agent – able to drive organisational change and explain complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
• Pragmatic innovator – deliver working automations quickly, balancing feasibility with commercial sense.
