Android Engineer – Build Cutting‑Edge Investment Apps

About the role

Join a fast‑growing FinTech company and help shape the Android experience for millions of investors. You will work with a highly motivated team of engineers, product managers and designers to simplify complex financial topics through intuitive mobile interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement user interfaces and features for the Android app.
• Take ownership of specific app components and see them through the full development lifecycle.
• Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers and designers to deliver high‑quality user experiences.
• Experiment with modern Android technologies and best practices, guided by senior team members.
• Write clean, testable, well‑documented code with a strong focus on quality and security.
• Continuously improve technical skills and stay up‑to‑date with Android ecosystem developments.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Natural Sciences or a comparable qualification.
• Hands‑on Android development experience, including internships or working‑student roles and personal projects.
• Basic familiarity with Kotlin, Coroutines, RxJava, Jetpack Compose, Dagger and GraphQL APIs, with motivation to deepen this knowledge.
• Strong analytical thinking and interest in both technical and product challenges.
• Good communication skills, openness to ask questions, give feedback and learn from others.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus.
