About the role

Norton Motorcycles is seeking a commercially driven Area Sales Manager to lead dealer performance and network development across Germany. Reporting to the Sales Manager, TVS/Norton, you will act as the key link between the brand and its dealer network, travelling frequently to support and grow the business.

Key responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary commercial contact for dealers in the assigned German territory.
  • Monitor and analyse retailer performance across motorcycles, accessories, finance and related metrics.
  • Develop and execute action plans with under‑performing dealers to drive sustainable improvement.
  • Lead regular business reviews and support territory planning.
  • Deliver area sales targets in line with national and regional objectives.
  • Track pipeline health, demand forecasting, stock positions and order intake.
  • Provide accurate, timely reporting and follow‑up on agreed actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, product, aftersales) to optimise performance.
  • Support local execution of sales campaigns, product launches and dealer activation plans.
  • Contribute to dealer onboarding, appointments and network changes.
  • Ensure dealers adhere to Norton corporate identity, retail standards and customer experience expectations.

Required profile

  • Proven field‑based sales experience, preferably in motorcycle, automotive or wider powersports.
  • Good understanding of motorcycle products, retail operations and dealership business models.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret performance data and turn insight into action.
  • Confident communicator with coaching, influencing and negotiation skills.
  • Organised, self‑motivated and results‑driven.
  • Passion for the motorcycle industry and willingness to travel frequently within the territory.
