Assistant Store Manager – Berlin

About the role

As an Assistant Store Manager at ALO in Berlin’s Mitte district, you will help shape the guest experience and drive sales performance. Working closely with the General Manager, you will ensure the store delivers ALO’s mindful movement philosophy through exceptional service and strong team leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Investigate sales opportunities, identify root causes, and partner with the General Manager to address process or system gaps.
• Lead the Sales & Service team to deliver an outstanding guest experience, providing product education and coaching.
• Build and maintain daily client relationships.
• Ensure effective floor coverage by developing workforce solutions and leading selling initiatives.
• Co‑create and implement the store’s Sales & Service strategy with the General Manager.
• Represent the business in meetings and conference calls.
• Monitor budget, reporting, and key metrics (e.g., expenses, sell‑through) and support quarterly business reviews.
• Champion ALO’s mission and guiding principles across the Sales, Service, and Community teams.
• Lead the team through accountability, continuous coaching, talent development, and clear communication.
• Develop succession pipelines and recruitment strategies.
• Create effective schedules aligned with business priorities.
• Oversee execution of the ALO Sales and Service Model to maintain operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support organizational goals.

Required profile

• Prior leadership experience.
