Automotive Service Advisor

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our Mercedes‑Benz dealership in Dartford. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and premium service experience from arrival to vehicle collection.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their service needs and schedule appointments efficiently.
• Check‑in vehicles, record details and coordinate with technicians to obtain accurate time and cost estimates.
• Communicate repair options and recommendations clearly, upselling additional services where appropriate.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation, including service orders and customer records.
• Adhere to Mercedes‑Benz service standards to protect brand integrity.
• Follow up with customers post‑service to ensure satisfaction.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor in a busy automotive environment.
• Strong organisational abilities and the capacity to manage multiple tasks under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer‑focused attitude.
• Right to work in the UK and a full UK manual driving licence.
• Proactive problem‑solver with keen attention to detail.
• Team‑player who collaborates effectively with technicians and colleagues.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM and service management software.
