Avionics Equipment Engineer - Aircraft General Systems (d/f/m)

About the role

Join the Electrical & Control Germany Team at Airbus Defence and Space to develop high‑fidelity avionics equipment for aircraft general systems such as landing gear and centralized maintenance. You will work on Eurofighter and future military programmes, collaborating with suppliers to deliver certified airborne solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop aircraft general‑systems control avionics hardware and software.
• Specify, test and generate certification evidence for avionics equipment.
• Guide suppliers through design, development, qualification and manufacturing of avionics hardware and software.
• Provide system‑engineering support for integration, build line, flight test, maintenance, repair, overhaul and retrofit programmes.
• Liaise with internal partners, external suppliers, national and international customers and partner companies.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a related field.
• Experience in a comparable role within electronics, avionic development or embedded systems.
